Best International Award in Sustainable Residential Development
Premiere in Romania: One United Properties receives in London the prestigious award Best International Award in Sustainable Residential Development, from the International Property Awards 2019-2020.
One Floreasca City is the first real estate project in Romania to hold a prestigious international prize: the best international project in the category "sustainable residential development".
For the first time in the history of the Romanian real estate market, a local project receives an important international award. One Floreasca City, a project developed by the company One United Properties, was awarded the prestigious Best International Award in Sustainable Residential Development, during the final International Property Awards 2019-2020. So far, no other real estate project in Romania has won such a prestigious international distinction.
Following the two judging sessions of International Property Awards 2019-2020, One United Properties qualified with One Floreasca City project at the regional stage of the competition, winning the regional prize for the best real estate project in Europe, in the category "sustainable residential development" - Best in Europe in Sustainable Residential Development Award. In the grand final of the International Property Awards, the company was also awarded the prize for the best international project in the same category - Best International in Sustainable Residential Development Award.
"Together with One United Properties team, we have identified this project, One Floreasca City, as an excellent one, with great chances to get far in this important international competition. This "far", however, surprised us all, since there have been companies in the past years that have reached regional stages, but internationally no Romanian company has ever received this award. It is a fantastic premiere for the Romanian real estate market and I am glad that One United Properties is opening this way. The prize won by One is also an award for Bucharest and Romania. I think we are now starting to learn how to do things right, to understand what an international assessment means. With this award, One United Properties is raising the bar on the local real estate market”,
says Valentin Ilie, One United Properties consultant for the International Property Awards 2019-2020.
"This award is one more reason for One United Properties team to be happy and proud after we have been awarded 4 prizes, of which 3 with the 5-star level, in a previous phase of the competition held in October, in London. This distinction which is also the premiere for Romania is a great honor for us. We are glad that our projects are internationally recognized and that the standards imposed by our company are in line with the best practices in the world market. One United Properties confirms once again to its investors the commitment to develop unique solutions in this area. The success of the winning project, One Floreasca City, a multifunctional and urban regeneration project, is the success of the entire project team and a successful example of gentrification”,
said Beatrice Dumitrașcu, VP Residential Sales One United Properties.
One Floreasca City thus becomes the first real estate project in Romania to hold a valuable international prize: the best international project in the category "sustainable residential development". One Floreasca City is a mixed development at the intersection of Mircea Eliade Boulevard with Calea Floreasca, a project that follows the company's strategy to develop mixed-use real estate projects on the Romanian market. One Floreasca City has a residential component - One Mircea Eliade, with 247 exclusive apartments, and an office component - One Tower office tower, with 24,000 sqm gross rentable area (GLA).
